Arizona Hearing and Balance Center

Dr. Lindsay Shroyer is a licensed audiologist who holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Shroyer earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Louisville and completed a four year residential program. 

Dr. Hernandez joined Arizona Hearing and Balance in 2016.  She has been an audiologist since 1997.  Since then, she has worked for multiple neurotology practices and children’s hospitals.  Dr. Hernandez provides both pediatric and adult services for diagnostic testing, cochlear implant evaluations and mapping, hearing aid evaluations and fittings. Additionally, she performs evoked potential testing for pediatric patients who have failed newborn hearing screenings.  Working with cochlear implants has long been her passion and she is frequently inspired by her patient experiences .

Dr. Frangenberg received her Doctorate of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ. Prior to her graduate studies, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Iowa. She completed her externship at the Medical College of Wisconsin and joined Arizona Hearing and Balance in September 2019. Dr. Frangenberg provides both pediatric and adult services for diagnostic testing, cochlear implant evaluations and mapping, as well as hearing aid evaluations and fittings. She maintains a dispensing audiologist license from the state of Arizona and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Begin received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin- River Falls in River Falls, Wisconsin.  She then moved to Arizona where she received her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.  She completed her externship at Arizona Hearing & Balance Center and joined as a full-time Clinical Audiologist following the completion of her externship.  She provides adult and pediatric services which include but are not limited to: diagnostic testing, auditory brainstem response (ABR) evaluations, hearing aid fitting, follow up, and troubleshooting, and cochlear implant evaluations and mapping.  She maintains a Dispensing Audiologist license from the state of Arizona and is certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
