Audiologist

Dr. Gail Whitelaw is the Clinic Director of the Speech Language Hearing Clinic. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University, a master’s degree in audiology from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. from Ohio State University. Dr. Whitelaw is the supervisor and clinical service provider for the audiology students at Ohio State University and has been involved in the education process her entire career. She held many leadership positions in her profession including the President of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Whitelaw specializes in general audiology, diagnosis and auditory processing disorders in people of all ages.

Clinic details

The goal of the Audiology Clinic is to maximize the communication abilities of individuals with hearing loss by providing comprehensive diagnostic services and state of the art treatments for hearing loss and related disorders.

The Audiology Clinic serves patients of all ages and encourages family involvement through out the entire process.

Doctoral level graduate student clinicians in the Department of Speech and Hearing Science conduct the assessment and intervention services. These services are supervised by state licensed and nationally certified audiologists.
