Audiologist

I started my undergraduate career at Marquette University as a Biomedical Engineering major, however, I desired to work more with patients. As someone who has hearing loss and wears a hearing aid myself I decided to become an audiologist and received my doctoral degree from Northwestern University. I believe my own experiences with hearing loss and hearing aids, in conjunction with the knowledge gained from Northwestern, allowed me a unique perspective into the needs of my patients and has allowed me to provide better patient care.

Aside from diagnosing and treating hearing loss in adults and children, I also have a passion evaluating and treating patients with  tinnitus (ringing or buzzing in the ears).

Audiologist

I made the decision to be an audiologist in the 8th grade when an audiologist visited my science class and described her profession. I received my Bachelors and Master of Science degree in Audiology from Radford University in Radford, Virginia. After working for five years, I gave birth to my second daughter, who was born with profound hearing loss in both ears. Today, I have five daughters, two with profound hearing loss. I'm a busy mom, very active with my kids' sports and activities, and as you can imagine, I have developed a love and devotion to pediatric audiology.
