Aurora graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1990 with her Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and with her Master's degree in Audiology in 1991. She enjoys reading, walking her Siberian Husky, and spending time with her husband and two active boys.

Vicki Ford,
M.A., CCC-A

Audiologist

Vicki graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with her Master's Degree in Audiology in 1995 and Bachelor's Degree in Audiology in 1993. She enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her husband and their cat.

Sue Vavrock,
M.C.D., CCC-A

Sue graduated from A.T. Still University – Arizona School of Health Sciences with her Doctorate of Audiology degree in 2008. She graduated from Auburn University with her Master’s degree in Audiology in 1999 and with her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders in 1997. She enjoys scrapbooking, photography, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Our four licensed audiologists, Sue Vavrock, Au.D., CCC-A, Kim Mozingo, Au.D., CCC-A, Aurora Phelps, M.A., CCC-A, and Vicki Ford, M.A., CCC-A, provide full audiologic services for infants, children and adults. This includes hearing evaluations, Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE), Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR), tympanometry, vestibular testing [Videonystagmography (VNG), Electrocochleography (ECOG), Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential (VEMP)], hearing aid evaluation and fitting, hearing assistive technology, custom swim molds, hearing protection, and musician ear plugs.

Middle Tennessee Ear, Nose and Throat is celebrating over a decade of outstanding service to this community. We are pleased that we are able to provide excellent medical care to the Middle Tennessee area.

Cerumen Removal We provide basic ear wax removal. Dizziness and Vertigo Evaluations Many people suffer from dizziness. Fortunately, the most common kind of dizziness can be treated in the office. For other types of dizziness, a full vestibular evaluation may be required. Ear Molds We have many types of custom earplugs including custom swim molds, custom noise protection earmolds, custom hands-free cell phone earmolds, custom iPod earplugs, custom musician earplugs, and more. We also have Doc-Pro Plugs for water Hearing Aid: Repair & Warrany We can get your hearing aid repaired quickly at a reasonable cost and give you a loaner hearing aid to use until yours comes back. Hearing Aids Hearing aids come in many different sizes and technologies. Each person's requirements differ and hearing aids may be customized to your individualized needs. Hearing Assistive Technology Hearing assistive technology devices are designed to augment, enhance, and improve your listening and hearing experiences. Things such as an amplified telephone, alarm clock, smoke alarm, door bell, TV devices, stethoscope, and handheld devices can make all the difference! Hearing Evaluation The purpose of a complete diagnostic hearing assessment is to determine if a hearing problem exists. We see patients from birth to geriatric. Tinnitus Tinnitus or ringing in the ears can be very bothersome. We provide tinnitus management strategies.
