Dr. Megan Johnson is the Owner and a licensed audiologist at Johnson Audiology. She opened Johnson Audiology in 2009 with the goal to offer quality hearing care to the people of Tennessee. Dr. Johnson earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Western Carolina University, a master’s degree in audiology from the University of Tennessee and her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida. She holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association, is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and board certified by the American Board of Audiology.

Dr. Kristen Panzarella is a licensed audiologist who earned a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from Illinois State University and a Doctorate in audiology from Louisiana State University. She has worked in private audiology and Ear Nose and Throat practice settings and has served geriatric, adult and pediatric populations.

“I was seen on time, and polite staff and clean lobby. I was notified how the exam was going to go like, and after the exam I was explain how bad my hearing was in both of my ears. They were very helpful to find me a hearing aids that's rechargeable like I wanted and could afford. Very helpful to explain how they would work and how to put them in and how to use my app for them. ”

“Excellent service from the receptionist to the audiologist. I was seen at the actual appointment time, a rarity in today’s world. Care was taken by my audiologist to insure that I was comfortable with my new hearing devices, every question I had was answered in detail. I highly recommend them to anyone with hearing impairments.”

“I went in today to get my hearing aids cleaned and Bethany was so helpful and listened to my questions well. I’m changing insurance as of next month and she will check on my future benefits and get back to me. She also took time to tell me about all the different choices of aids available and how far the technology has come just since I’ve been with them two years ago! It was exciting for me to “hear” that there is new technology for specifically helping with tinnitus (mine from Menieres) to cancel out certain ringing in that range. I look forward to talking with them more about it. Very helpful and I am blessed to have found Johnson Audiology in Franklin, TN!”

“My “4” rating is not a judgement on Bethany who took care of my problem. But a “strike” about the absurdity of closing an entire chain of audiology clinics. I tried yesterday several times to reach my local clinic with MY emergency to no avail. I got a VM that didn’t explain anything about why you were closed. Bethany explained that an e-mail was sent out and I am on your list to receive those. But in this case our cable services were not available due to work being done by Xfinity. So, this is why I was not happy when I went to the clinic to have to find out why everything was closed. My personal opinion is this either use ZOOM to get the word to all employees leaving all employees in their clinics or do two meetings on back to back days so there is some personal coverage at each location. That’s just my personal feelings and I think Johnson Audiology can and should do better. Thank you. ”

“Thank you so much for sharing your concerns with us, and please accept my sincere apologies for the difficulties you experienced recently. We strive for stellar patient care, and we missed the mark with you. We will absolutely put in place additional methods for making patients aware of our bi-annual meetings. We can also certainly relate to your cable services being down that day. Technology is our friend until it's not, right? We, in fact, had a new phone service in place that came on-line in early August. As part of that service, we made arrangements for all of our phone calls on meeting day to transfer to our answering service as we wanted to make sure that patients were told when they called that the office was closed that day. The answering service is also able to set up some appointment types so that our meeting days are less disruptive for our patients. That process with our new phone service did not work. I assure you, I am not seeking to make excuses for the frustration you understandably experienced. More of an explanation and an assurance that we will work painstakingly to make sure the technology works correctly from now on. Thank you for your patronage of our practice and for your kind words about Bethany. We appreciate you and the trust you put in us and will work to re-establish that trust with you in future dealings.
