“I have been going to Thigpen hearing for almost 8 years. This is when there was only Patti and Sue seeing patients. Their care was superior to any I have had before any where else. As Dr. Thigpen expanded the business the customer service has declined (except for Sue). Now when I go I do not feel like the newer associates have my best interests in mind and they have become so impersonal. When I first started their only goal was to help me in any way possible, to make sure my hearing aids worked at optimal efficiency and they found solutions for any issues I came up Agaisnt. Now when I have an issue I am told that they cannot help you or they only have one solution and it costs so much it cannot be afforded. I really love Dr. Thigpen and Dr. Vavrock, but I miss that I do not get to see them any more. They made me feel special, but now I feel like one of the many. I am sad to say that, but that is how I feel.”

“I saw Dr. Sue Vavrock first in 2018 when my wife and I determined that an evaluation of my hearing was indicated. The doctor to patient manner Dr. Vavrock has was positive from the beginning. At my request, she allowed my wife to sit in on the assessment. Our impression of her was excellent from the start. She listens. She learns of any history (which I have from two separate incidents) that might account for the loss of hearing. She asks appropriate questions. While being a person who is all business, she is just as personable, as well. Since Dr. Vavrock fitted hearing aids to me, my ability to hear has improved, dramatically. She is exceptionally good at what she does, and I continue to feel just as confident today in her professional expertise as I did from that initial meeting with her.”

“My son-in-law put me in touch with Thigpen Hearing Center. I made an appointment and saw Sue Vavrock, Au, D. I couldn’t be happier with my service from Her. She walked me through the steps of wearing hearing aids. She went through the types of hearing aids that were available to me and told me pro and cons of each hearings aid. I chose the hearing aids that you just plug into an outlet because I didn’t want to have to worry about the batteries. She went through the entire users manual and explained everything to me in detail. She set up my IPhone to the app that I would use with the hearing aids. I was set! I would highly recommend Thigpen hearing Center to anyone who wear hearing aids already or need to check into getting hearing aids you want be disappointed! This group of ladies are TOP NOTCHED! The customer service is what a customer should an will get! ”
