“I have been wearing hearing aids for 40 years and Dr. McCoy is outstanding. Her expertise as an Audiologist and her product knowledge is fantastic. I love my hearing aids and they were very well priced. I have paid too much in the past as many places add on "service" fees in the thousands of dollars. Highly recommend Dr. McCoy!”

“I understand that due to the Covid 19 issue, patients are being scheduled further apart, causing vast delays in service for those with hearing issues. However, for that reason, I feel Cigna should adopt some sort of triage procedure, whereby patients who only need a minor physical repair, adjustment or "fix" to a hearing aid are able to receive expedited service. Without my one hearing aid I am totally deaf. To have to wait a week without hearing is totally unacceptable. I have used non-Cigna provided facilities in the past and received much better response and understanding. At this facility the "scheduler" showed no compassion, understanding or concern. I do not understand why a Dr. has to be the fix-it person for minor hearing aid problems. Perhaps, an audiology student could do this. Or Cigna could "contract" with audiology schools for "on the job" training. Think out of the box Cigna, don't just keep doing the same thing and leave your patients hanging. In close, I have generally received excellent care at Cigna, however dealing with this issue is a disappointing exception! ”

Official Response from Cigna Medical Group - Paradise Valley Hearing Center, Phoenix:
“Nick, I am so sorry that you may have had to wait for an appointment. It looks like you had to wait 3 business days for an appointment. Covid-19 has made it so that we have to limit the number of appointments a day in order to maintain proper cleaning protocols between every patient. We want to be sure to keep patients and staff as safe as possible. Let us pray that Covid-19 will come to an end with vaccines, masks, etc. and save lives. Thank you for your support during this difficult time.”
