“I have gone to this office for about 20 years. I have purchased all of my hearing aids through this office. I have always been happy with the service I have received. Recently I had my tubes changed. I had to wait three weeks for the appointment. The receptionist was not very friendly or helpful in finding an appointment so I took what I could get. I attended my appointment, receptionist was not very friendly or welcoming at all which was totally different from all my other experiences at this office. I had the tubing changed and then one of my ears developed a pressure sore. I called to try to get in to the office and again the receptionist was quite snippy and rude, nothing was available for another three weeks. Meanwhile, I am in extreme pain. Her comment was "Well if you are in that much pain you can go to the office at 32nd St and Indian School. Otherwise you will have to wait." I found a new audiologist office after that and they got me in two days, shaved down the mold and redid the tubing all within 10 minutes. Still have the sore in my ear that I will probably have to go to urgent care for, but I have relief from the constant rubbing on my ear. I am sad to say that I will no longer recommend this office to anyone due to the receptionist callous behavior. Being hearing impaired is difficult enough when and the audiology office that you go to should be a place that you feel is there to help you not make you feel worse that you can't hear and have to wear hearing aids. There was no compassion shown by this receptionist to try to help. I was able to find another office that was as friendly and inviting as Dr. Dobbins and his staff used to be. ”
