Audiologist

Arizona-licensed Doctor of Audiology, Dana Day, has been helping people hear and feel better for over 25 years. She is the owner and founder of Arizona Balance & Hearing Aids, and has been providing expert audiology services to the people of Phoenix and Maricopa County since 1985.  Dana earned her doctorate from A.T.  Still University, Arizona School for Health Sciences.  Her specialties include working with patients of all ages, while providing state of the art technology to resolve hearing and balance disorders. 

Dana has taught audiology students at both Arizona State University and A.T. Still University.  She is also a clinical supervisor to 4th year doctoral students.

Dana loves helping people hear and feel better and looks forward to serving you.

Susan Schmidt,

Audiologist

Susan Schmidt is a licensed Doctor of Audiology with years of experience helping resolve complex balance issues. Her specialties include tinnitus, diagnostic balance testing and rehabilitation, and patient counseling.  Susan entered the field of audiology after originally studying psychology and training as an interpreter for the deaf.  She became curious about the causes of hearing loss and found the research so compelling that she changed her educational course and earned her doctorate in audiology instead.

Clinical Audiologist-Gilbert Location

Dr. McKell Larson, AuD. is a clinical audiologist and a wonderful addition to the team at Arizona Balance & Hearing at our Gilbert location.

Dr. Larson is a local (and consider myself a native) Arizonan. Attending Arizona State University where she earned her bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science in 2012 and received a Doctorate of Audiology from AT Still University in Mesa, Arizona in 2017.

Dr. Larson is passionate about improving my patients' quality of life by providing patient-centered care that focuses on solutions that are unique to each patient’s hearing and lifestyle needs. She enjoys going above and beyond for my patients to help them hear and communicate better.
