 Dr. Barker believes every patient’s needs are unique and needs a treatment plan that is individualized for them. She works with the patient to develop the plan while incorporating evidence-based best practices, like real ear measurements and treatment validation measures, to guide patients to hear their best. Dr. Barker enjoys working with patients with hearing loss and tinnitus. She has also taken courses in cognitive behavioral therapy, meditation, and Tinnitus Retraining Therapy. Tinnitus research is ongoing, and management options change rapidly. She is constantly learning and looking for the newest options available and evaluating their effectiveness to provide patients with the best opportunities to succeed.
