Thomas Dotson was born and raised in Statesville, North Carolina, where he was able to experience the impact hearing aids can make on a community by watching his mother work at her own private audiology practice. He graduated from UNC Charlotte with a degree in Communication Studies, and moved to Raleigh in 2017. Thomas began working at HearingLife in January 2021, where he participated in the apprenticeship program and is now a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. He works in numerous local offices to help people hear better. In his spare time, Thomas serves as a camp counselor for cross-country camping trips, and he enjoys being on the water with his family and two-year-old Goldendoodle.
