Unbeknownst to me, I gradually developed a permanent slight hearing loss, prior to college, through noise exposure from musical instruments. I was told by others that, "those instruments can be loud", but I did not fully understand the effects of cumulative noise exposure. What I needed was education on hearing conservation. Now as an Audiologist, It is my mission to empower others with this knowledge as well as improve the quality of people's lives and relationships by facilitating better hearing and communication. I am qualified to provide appropriate amplification solutions for patients of all ages.
I am a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology as well as an associate of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. My other passions include being an active contributor in my community and church, enjoying my family and friends, and songwriting. I love to experience the outdoors through activities such as mountain biking, golf, running and snowboarding.
