Aliza Frankel-Segal,

Audiologist
Dr. Aliza Frankel-Segal discovered her passion for audiology in high school after observing a sign language interpreter at a community event and witnessing the powerful role communication plays in helping individuals with hearing loss fully participate in daily life. Inspired by this experience, she pursued a career dedicated to helping patients achieve fulfilling, successful lives through compassionate care and the use of advanced hearing technology.
Dr. Frankel-Segal earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Montclair State University in 2016 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Language Communications from Touro College. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Before joining HearingLife, she worked as a clinical audiologist at HearUSA in Elmhurst, NY, and previously served as an assistant teacher at the Auditory Oral School of New York, an early intervention preschool supporting children with hearing challenges
Sabila Rana,
AuD, CCC-A
Audiologist
Dr. Sabila Rana earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from CUNY Queens College and completed her Doctor of Audiology degree at Salus University’s Osborne College of Audiology in 2024. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A).
Dr. Rana has clinical experience across a variety of settings, including private practice, ENT, and hospital-based audiology. She completed her residency (externship) at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in collaboration with Liberty Hearing Centers in Brooklyn, New York.
Throughout her training and clinical work, Dr. Rana has provided care to pediatric and adult patients from diverse backgrounds. She has worked collaboratively within multidisciplinary clinical teams alongside audiologists and otolaryngologists and has experience with most major hearing aid manufacturers. Dr. Rana is passionate about audiology and is dedicated to helping each patient achieve their best possible hearing and quality of life.
