“I never had Hearing Aids in the past, my knowledge was based on self-research through the internet and a competitor Hearing Dept. visit prior to Ear Works appointment. I have had 3 visits with this office to base this detailed review on. LOCATION: (10/10 rating): A very modernized office building. Easy direct access to location with plenty of parking including Handicap Parking. OFFICE: (9.5/10 rating): They seem to be very organized with appointment scheduling. My only issue is that I’m a large individual and all the chairs in waiting room and office (s) have arms which could be uncomfortable, hopefully they will get a few armless chairs for larger individuals. STAFFING: (10/10 rating): Individually defined below. The Patient Care Coordinator / Joy Levine (10/10 rating): Seems to have a very strong work ethic and knowledge making the patient feel overwhelmingly comfortable from explaining what to expect, initial scheduling and follow up appointments/notifications. Her office hospitality has been outstanding in my opinion. The Doctor of Audiology / Lindsay Block (10/10 rating): The Doctors knowledge and explanation of the procedures throughout the testing booth were outstanding. Her explanation of the results and illustration/graphics of my hearing loss issues were very informative. She explained in detail the types and styles of hearing aids that would be most suitable for my hearing issues. She offered a variety of different brands to choose from and explained in detail the pros and cons as well as features of each one. THE PURCHASE: I chose to purchase the PHONAK (Paradise 70 Advanced). At this time my research confirmed they were one of the newest advanced rechargeable, Smartphone Bluetooth streaming Hearing Aid Device packed with many advanced features to help assist your personal hearing loss issues. THE RESULT: (You Get What You Pay For!!!) / (It’s All About the Customer Service!!!) These are the best two phrases to sum up this review. I chose to go with Syosset Ear Works Audiology because of their knowledge, extended customer care offered during and after the decision of purchase. Hear this (no pun intended) all Hearing Aids & Brands are not the same, every manufacture designs different features for similar Models and Private Branded Labels/Names even if they advertise some similar features. Think twice… ”
