Estes Audiology - Austin

Gay Wucher, M.A. has over 30 years experience in the field of audiology and is a native Austinite. She loves hearing stories about old Austin, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and cheering for the University of Texas Longhorns.

Designing hearing solutions for discriminating listeners is a challenge that she appreciates. Whether it’s in-the-ear monitors for musicians, custom ear protection for loud venues, or hearing amplification for people who might need a little boost in understanding conversations, Gay cares deeply about each patient and their specific hearing needs.

She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

In her spare time, she enjoys playing cards, dominos, or any other game that might come her way. She lives in Austin with her wife, Natalie, and their two dogs Cotton and Waffles.

Soriya Estes, AuD has extensive experience in the field of Audiology and owns several private practice offices in Central Texas. She received her Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of Texas at Austin and her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University. Dr. Estes has served as a guest faculty member at the University of Texas at Austin and also has served on several committees for the American Academy of Audiology. She has spoken at regional and national forums relaying Best Practices for Audiologists in hearing healthcare clinics.

In 2005, Dr. Estes started her first practice in New Braunfels, Texas with the philosophy of providing superior hearing healthcare services for all patients. The philosophy of service to others resonates throughout her character.

Dr. Estes is highly motivated to serve her local communities in Central Texas. Estes Audiology has served as the hearing service affiliate provider for the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) since 2009. Dr. Estes has also been a provider of donated hearing aids, which have been fit during mission trips around the world.

Outside of Audiology, Soriya also serves on the Board of Trustees for 89.5 KMFA – classical public radio and the St. Austin’s Catholic School Board. She is also a Blue Coat for the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce and was awarded the Small Business Person of the Year in 2015 from the New Braunfels Chamber. She lives in Austin with her husband, Brian, and their two daughters.

Kelli House, M.A. has extensive experience in the field of Audiology and joined as a partner of Estes Audiology in 2014. Mrs. House has experience in both pediatric and adult diagnostic testing, hearing loss counseling, and hearing aid fittings.  Prior to joining Estes Audiology in May of 2008, she served as Director of Audiology and Lead Audiologist at Easter Seals of Central Texas, a non-profit facility.  Through this work, she gained knowledge of grant writing, coordination of ancillary rehabilitation support and providing hearing services to low-income and elderly patients.  Mrs. House also has extensive experience in adult aural rehabilitation and hearing aid services for our military veterans.  She previously worked in the Audiology Departments at Brooke Army Medical Center and the Temple Veterans Administration, working directly with active duty soldiers and retired veterans.

Mrs. House is very involved in local and regional professional organizations, including the Austin Audiology Society, Scott Haug Foundation and the Texas Academy of Audiology.  She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Audiology and serves as an off-campus clinical supervisor for the University of Texas at Austin Audiology doctoral program.

Kelli and her husband, MAJ Tory House (US Army), enjoy scuba diving and spending time with their three active sons.  Kelli is a past school board member and she is active in the parents club at St. Austin Catholic School.
