“I really like the Oticon hearing aids which were purchased in August. The first couple days were overwhelming since I was able to hear every sound at once – just like normal hearing! One sound does not overpower other sounds like the Widex. There is no longer a struggle to hear in overcrowded or noisy places. The family haven’t really noticed the difference but even when I’m facing my back to someone, I can still hear the conversation clearly. Also, the hearing aids are not noticeable; even when my hair is pinned up. There is a degree of vanity in most of us! The only challenge has been answering the phone at work since I don’t get to hear at least the first three or four words until I place the receiver in the correct spot. These aids are costly too, but I wanted something more advanced in technology. Jared Talarico is the best - not pushy, caring and always very helpful.”

The piece had to be ordered, so she fixed it so she had something to hear with until the piece came in a week later! Mom couldn't believe it. She thought she would not be able to hear anything until the new piece came in but she put a different piece on the end with a new wire and was able to hear!
