Amy Holyfield,

Audiologist

Dr. Holyfield received her Doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona Health Science Center of A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. Amy graduated with her Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of South Florida in 1997 where she was an Honors Student. She completed her undergraduate coursework at the University of Florida in 1995. She has worked in a variety of settings such as ENT practice, hospital and private practice. She has been practicing audiology for ten years. Amy is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, the Florida Academy of Audiology, and she is certified through the American Speech and Hearing Association. Amy is a Clinical Supervisor for numerous universities for both third and fourth year students in the Doctor of Audiology Program.

Edward Johnson,
Au.D.

Audiologist

Dr. Edward Johnson received his Doctorate in Audiology from Nova Southeastern University in 2011, where he graduated with Honors. He completed his undergraduate coursework in Education from Claflin University in 2005. He completed his fourth year Doctoral Clinical Externship with Doctors’ Hearing and Balance Centers of Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of South Florida. He accepted the invitation to become part of the clinical diagnostic team at Doctors’ Hearing and Balance Centers of Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of South Florida at the completion of his fourth year Externship. Dr. Johnson’s clinical internships included rotations at the NSU Hearing and Balance Clinic, Hearing Partners of South Florida, University of Miamiand various otolaryngology practices in Broward County. Dr. Johnson’s clinical interests include amplification, counseling and aural rehabilitation, assistive listening devices, and vestibular disorders.

Natalie McElhaney,
Au.D.

Audiologist

Dr. McElhaney received her Doctorate degree in Audiology from The A.T Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2008. She was awarded her Masters of Arts degree in audiology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1986. She completed her undergraduate coursework in Communication Disorders at The Pennsylvania State University in 1982. She has experience in a variety of clinical settings such as a neuro-otology practice, hospital based hearing and balance center, Veterans Administration Hospital and private practice with a primary focus on pediatrics. Dr. McElhaney is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is Board Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a clinical supervisor for both third and fourth year students in the Doctor of Audiology Program.
