Dr. Ali Danesh,
Ph.D., CCC-A, FAAA,
Audiologist
Professor Danesh specializes in the areas of tinnitus, balance disorders, and amplification. He also has advanced knowledge and skills in the management and treatment of Sound Sensitivity Disorders such as Hyperacusis and Misophonia. He received his Doctorate in audiology with an emphasis on auditory electrophysiology from the University of Memphis, Memphis, Tennessee.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Danesh is professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Florida Atlantic University. He also has a secondary appointment as the Professor of Biomedical Sciences at Schmidt College of Medicine. He teaches students in audiology, medicine, and speech, language pathology. Additionally, he has faculty appointments at two other universities in South Florida. Dr. Danesh is a board certified clinical audiologist and has presented more than 80 scientific papers in the past few years in local, state, national, and international meetings. In the past few years Dr. Danesh has published more than 40 peer reviewed scientific papers on topics related to hearing, tinnitus and balance disorders in a variety of prestigious journals and proceedings. In addition to being a professor of audiology at Florida Atlantic University, Dr. Danesh has academic faculty appointments at the following academic institutions:
1. Professor of Clinical Biomedical Sciences (Secondary), College of Medicine, Florida Atlantic University.
2. Volunteer faculty at Department of Otolaryngology, Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami.
3. Adjunct faculty, Department of Audiology, Nova Southeastern University.
4. Adjunct Faculty, Department of Audiology, Salus University.

“I was referred by my doctor to Labyrinth Audiology Center. I knew my hearing was bad, and that I needed hearing aids. The doctors and staff were very knowledgeable and caring. They answered all my questions. I’ve had my hearing aids now for over a year and they are amazing. There is a day and night difference in being able to hear everything and my comprehension of the world around me improved. I don’t know why I waited so long. My hearing aids are easy to use, have a 15 hour rechargeable battery and I wear them all day. They even have an app that lets you find them if you lose them. A big plus for me is the Bluetooth feature that lets me talk on my phone. I highly recommend this place!”

“After experiencing muffled hearing for over a week, I called Dr. Danesh's office to schedule an appointment. He was concerned about my symtoms and insisted I come in right away. He administered a battery of hearing tests and determined that I had suffered from sudden hearing loss. He coordinated a same day appointment with an ENT who would prescribe the medication I needed to hopefully reverse the situation. Dr. Danesh was excellent. Without his quick response and follow up I would likely have permanent hearing loss. Thank you Dr. Danesh.”

Labyrinth Audiology Center for Hearing, Tinnitus & Balance was established 15 years ago with a goal to provide testing, management, and treatment for common hearing conditions. We offer comprehensive on-site hearing healthcare services for Boca Raton, Florida. We believe it’s important for patients to understand their hearing issues through an accurate diagnosis, and receive treatment that will improve their overall well-being and communication. Our philosophy is to break down communication barriers and improve the quality of life of each patient.
At Labyrinth Audiology, we strive to help our patients by making diagnoses, offering solutions to manage symptoms, and providing the treatment that’s best for the patient. We commonly help patients overcome conditions such as hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), balance difficulties, vertigo, and sound sensitivity. Treatment options sometimes include hearing aids and maintaining consistent symptom management from the initial diagnosis to follow-up care.
Our practice is located on Glades Road, the main street in Boca Raton. Our office is right across from Florida Atlantic University.
