Dr. Lucinda Batta founded Happy Hearing Clinic in 2025. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology from Indiana University in 2015, after completing her Bachelor of Science at Purdue University in 2012. While pursuing her education, Dr. Batta conducted research on the cognitive effort involved in understanding speech with age-related hearing loss—a topic that continues to guide her patient-centered approach, with an emphasis on clarity and ease of listening.
Originally from the scenic mountains of Kingsport, Tennessee, Dr. Batta settled in Kentucky in 2017 with her husband, son, and three beloved dogs. Her deep appreciation for music inspires her to provide hearing care that supports each patient’s unique interests and passions. She is a proud member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and has previously served as treasurer for the Kentucky Academy of Audiology.
