Johnson's Hearing Centers - Daytona Beach

Lindsey Kummerer, Au.D., CCC-A, is a board-certified audiologist who is dedicated to improving communication for patients of all ages with hearing loss.  Dr. Kummerer believes in treating more than just the hearing loss with amplification by providing continued counseling and support for patients and their loved ones during their hearing healthcare journey. 

Dr. Kummerer graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2015.  After working a few years at a fertility clinic, Dr. Kummerer decided to go back to school to pursue her dream of working in audiology.  Dr. Kummerer graduated with her doctorate of audiology from the University of South Florida (USF) in 2023 after completing her clinical residency at Island Audiology in Honolulu and Vitale Ear, Nose & Throat in Wesley Chapel. Dr. Kummerer is currently continuing her education and interests in research by pursuing a Ph.D. at USF in communication sciences and disorders.  Her research focuses include individual differences in cocktail party listening, speech-in-noise difficulties and perception, as well as subclinical hearing loss.

Dr. Kummerer looks forward to welcoming both adults and children at Johnson’s Hearing Centers to help improve their quality of life by providing valuable hearing healthcare. 

Holly Johnson, President of Johnson’s Hearing Centers and Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist, has made a difference in the hearing-impaired community for over 25 years.  Holly is state licensed in Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, and over the years has witnessed the advancements in technology.

She is a native of Ohio where she owned and operated several successful hearing aid centers. She moved to Florida to pursue her dreams of assisting people with hearing loss while avoiding harsh winters and spending time with her mom in the sun.  

Heather Hatfield is a Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist, she has over 14 years of experience helping those with hearing loss. Heather has worked all over Florida training others in the industry sharing her knowledge, techniques, and best practices. Heather is very patient driven, and she strives to connect with her patients on a professional and personal level. She thrives on her ability to add quality of life through hearing to her patients. Spreading knowledge of hearing loss, the effects it has on the brain and treating hearing loss- has is her life mission. 

Outside of work, Heather is busy raising four children and actively participating in their extracurricular activities. She enjoys being outdoors, the beach, mudding and working on her family farm. 

She believes that helping all patients with their hearing loss, educating them on the effects of hearing loss and the benefits of hearing correction will bring her patients closer to their family and friends to fill the void their hearing impairment creates. 

Kim Borrelli, Licensed Hearing Specialist, entered the hearing industry in 2012 as a business manager in an Audiology practice.  She quickly fell in love with the opportunity of helping others reconnect with their family, friends, and community through hearing healthcare.

What can seem complicated, she makes it seem easy.  Kim uses her experience as a Director of Training and Leadership Coach, to help patients understand their hearing loss and has successful strategies to communicate better using their hearing devices. Kim has returned home to Florida after enjoying her prior career in Boston and South Carolina.   

She is an avid traveler and has visited over 20 countries.  Kim enjoys spending time in nature parks and traveling to see her children and family.
