Cathy McDermott currently lives in Palm Coast Florida, but is originally from Newburgh, New York. She went to school at the University of Florida and has been a Florida resident for over 15 years. Cathy was a proud owner and operator of her own hearing center for many years, which is what led her to her passion of working in the hearing industry and helping people who have hearing losses. Cathy’s passion and innovation for helping people hear better is what motivates her to continue providing exceptional hearing healthcare and bringing wonderful sounds back to everyone’s life. Cathy believes there is nothing more rewarding than seeing people thrive again after regaining their hearing and communication with loved ones.

At Johnson’s Hearing Centers, our mission is to enhance the hearing experience for individuals of all ages.
Led by hearing instrument specialist Holly Johnson, our center is privately owned and committed to delivering a comprehensive range of hearing services.
Prior to establishing Johnson’s Hearing Centers, Holly achieved success as the owner operator of multiple thriving centers in Ohio. While her passion for improving people's hearing remained unwavering she sought a change from Ohio winters and decided to relocate to Florida.
Today she's dedicated to bringing superior hearing assistance to the residents of Inverness and the neighborhood communities all while enjoying the sunshine state's delightful atmosphere.

Johnson’s Hearing Center in Daytona Beach provides comprehensive hearing services for adults of all ages.
Hearing Tests - The hearing test does not take long and our hearing providers will walk you through the entire process. A series of tests will be performed, including:
- Pure-tone audiometry
- Tympanometry
- Speech recognition testing
Hearing Aid Evaluations - To find the right device that will help you. Johnson’s Hearing Centers is a privately owned hearing aid center offering the latest technology from top manufacturers. Our wide range of hearing devices include rechargeable options with Bluetooth connectivity all custom program programmable to match your unique hearing needs.

We carry all styles of hearing aids for sale, including custom made hearing aids and earmolds if needed.
Hearing Aid Fitting and Programming - Using the results of your hearing test (audiogram), we'll skilfully program and fit your hearing aids to your unique needs.
Hearing Aid Repairs - Whether your aids sound distorted, you require a wax guard replaced or your devices need a through cleaning, we can help you.
Cerumen (earwax) Removal - Contact us to schedule an ear cleaning appointment.
Tinnitus Management - Also known as “ringing in the ears. Currently there is no tinnitus treatment that will cure ringing in the ears, but there are management options that can help. Hearing aids with a masking feature can help those who experience tinnitus. While hearing aids won’t stop ringing in the ears completely, they can provide relief.
Custom Earplugs - Helping you protect your ears. We can create custom fit earmolds for hearing aids, earplugs for hearing protection, and in-ear monitors for musicians. We offer custom fit hearing protection, including SoundGear, so you can hear your best for years to come.
