Stephen Sherbin is a Hearing Aid Specialist licensed in Florida. He is also Board-Certified and an IHS Certified Tinnitus Care Provider. He offers comprehensive hearing evaluations and works with his clients to find the best hearing solution to achieve the hearing health goal they desire.
Stephen is the Past President of the Florida Hearing Society. He is also a member of the IHS Licensing Committee (ILE) that writes clinical test questions for the International Licensing Exam.
Previous work experience includes SE Business Development Mgr for Miracle-Ear and Sr Director of the Florida Medical Hearing brand running daily operations for 49 Florida locations for Widex/AMG.
Stephen is credentialed with major insurance providers and can assist with you getting hearing aids via your insurance provider if available. These include United Healthcare, Wellcare, Medicaid Dual, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Covenant. We also work with all major portals including Epic, Hearing Care Solutions, Truhearing, NationsHearing, Amplifon Hearing Health, Your Hearing Network

“Wow! We are on vacation from Ohio and having problems with my Signia hearing aide. The 4th call looking for a hearing aid repair brought us to Better Hearing Now. He was in the mobile van and said he could stop by our hotel on his way back to the office. 5 minutes later he drove up to our hotel and repaired the hearing aid from the back of his van. Beyond Excellent Service!!!! We cant thank you enough. ”

Better Testing - Comprehensive hearing testing/evaluations. These are the minimum recommended tests by our industry:
- AC - Air Conduction
- WRS - Speech Discrimination
- MCL - Most Comfortable Volume Level
- BC - Bone Conduction
- SRT - Speech Reception Threshold
- UCL or LDL - Uncomfortable Volume Level
- Speech-in-Noise testing is also highly-recommended, but few offices perform it.
