“After being with them for 3yrs I had to switch due to my Medicare insurance plan. I felt that they no longer cared to have my business. The best example of this was that my hearing aid broke and suddenly after it came back and I had switched providers a repair cost me $250 dollars (broken battery door). The receptionist called and collected the unexpected charges. Charge seemed to me to be excessive.”

Official Response from My Hearing Centers - Sparks:
“Dear Carl, At My Hearing Centers we provide free office visits for the life of the hearing aid. We have valued you as a patient and have seen you 18 times during the last three years without any charge for those visits. The broken battery door on your hearing aid is not something we can fix in our office and had to be sent to the manufacturer for repair. Their repair costs are fixed and we have no control over that. As you may remember, we advised you of the repair cost before the hearing aid was sent in and you gave us the approval to have it done. We even provided a loaner hearing aid while yours was out for repair. We are happy to continue providing free office visits regardless of insurance status. If you would like to discuss this further, we invite you to call the office to schedule another complimentary office visit to ensure your satisfaction. Sincerely, Mark Butler, Hearing Instrument Specialist ”
