Sarah Sugden

AuD

Dr. Sugden is a New York state licensed Audiologist who has been helping people escape their isolation and regain their hearing for more than 20 years. She obtained her clinical doctorate degree in Audiology from the University of Florida, Gainesville, received a Master’s Degree in Audiology from Syracuse University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Nazareth College in Rochester.

She has extensive experience with adult and pediatric hearing testing, hearing aid fittings and hearing aid management, as well as vestibular testing (balance and dizziness testing) and newborn hearing screenings. She also performs tinnitus evaluations, Central Auditory Processing Disorder testing and workers compensation and pension examinations. She has also obtained several certifications in vestibular rehabilitation and balance therapy through the American Institute of Balance and Fyzical.

Dr. Sugden has received many accolades, including the “Women Of Distinction” award in 2016 from the NYS Senate and presented business of the year awards from the Greater Watertown-North Country Chamber of Commerce in 2014 and Downtown Watertown Business Association in 2012. She also is a Fellow with the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).

Jordan Sgroi

Dr. Sgroi is a New York state licensed Audiologist and has been with Watertown Audiology since June 2017. He obtained his clinical doctorate degree in Audiology from Salus University of Pennsylvania and Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from SUNY Fredonia. Prior to joining Watertown Audiology for his fourth-year externship, Dr. Sgroi garnered valuable experience in a busy hospital and clinical setting in the Department of Otolaryngology at Temple University in Philadelphia. He has experience with adult and pediatric hearing testing, hearing aid fittings and hearing aid. He also performs tinnitus evaluations, vestibular testing (balance and dizziness testing) and Central Auditory Processing Disorder testing. He also earned his Clinical Certificate from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
