“I never realized how much I was missing until I went and saw Bruce. Bruce was my second stop after a failed ENT appointment where I felt like they just wanted my copay. Bruce took the time to explain everything he was looking for and doing throughout the process and even had me try out a loaner set of hearing aids. He then took me outside where we had a long distance discussion while everyday life revolved around us. Bruce is the gentleman you want to fit you for hearing aids- hands down!”
“Bruce Powell is a very knowledgeable and excellent audiologist. He is extremely patient and takes the time to explain all aspects of the hearing aids to his clients. He is compassionate and understanding and always willing to help. My son and I appreciate Bruce very much.”
“Bruce Powell is an excellent audiologist. He is professional and kind. I feel so blessed that he worked with us when we were searching for hearing aids for my stepfather. This was not an easy task working with my stepfather and Bruce couldn't have been kinder and more patient! He made this process easy and such a wonderful experience. My stepfather had very limited hearing and before we left he had him hearing with great quality results. I cannot thank Bruce enough for his help in our situation. I cannot more highly recommend Bruce and his five star professional service. I hope that he can assist me someday when I will probably need hearing aids! I can see how helpful they can be in improving someone's quality of life. Bruce is the real deal and is truly committed to helping people regain a sense of connection with love ones and the communicating with people. I will never forget and always appreciate how you helped our family. ”
“We just want to thank you Bruce for your excellent care of our Mother. We have been doing this ENT, Audiologist, Hearing instrument thing for over 15 years, and we have never been happier than we are now! You would get six stars if we could because you truly care and listen and explain things in simple terms that Mom now wants to wear her aids because you explained, and demonstrated to where she feels comfortable. Just as we were referred to you, we will sing your praises to any and everyone who need aids. Again thanks you are The Best!!”
“Wife & I both had hearing tests at Hearing Life - We are 71 & 69 yrs old - Tests in 2017 showed slight hearing loss, Hearing specialist in 2017 did not recommend aids for either of us, but rather test periodically for further loss - Specialist now said that we both needed hearing aids, even thought the change from 2017 was minimal - Specialist wanted us to come back for fitting of hearing aids - No discussion of options or why this aid would be the best choice - After we got home, we called back and cancelled the fitting appointment and made an appointment with an audioligist at an ENT practice - The auduologist said that my hearing was at the edge of needing aids and if I got them now, I would hear little to no difference - I was also concerned that hearing aids would affect my enjoyment of hifi music - Hearing Life guy said that I would hear music like I had never heard before with his aids - Audiologist said that aids concentrated on the speech range and that enjoyment of hifi music would suffer with aids in my case - My wife's hearing was in a range where no aid was indicated - Bottom line - Our experience with Hearing Life was that their focus is on sales and not on meeting a customer's needs - Save yourself from the experience that that we had and see a licensed audiologist whose focus is treating hearing loss and not selling hearing aids - If hearing aids are then indicated, then the auduologist can recommend the proper type of aid and go over options with you -”
