“My 92 year old Father has worn hearing aids for 40+ yrs, the last new pair he had was 4 years ago. He was most frustrated over not being able to hear @ his meetings, watching TV - especially Lawrence Welk, when ballroom dancing and other social events. It was a constant battle at home with the TV being so loud the whole house vibrated and he still could not understand even with captioning. In a nutshell, the clarity as well as the volume were horrendous issues. The first day we met Lydia and Jimmy, they were most kind, patient and understanding. No sales push was given. They were genuinely trying to improve his hearing as they both seemed to have an innate understanding of how he felt. Jimmy was realistic, honest & caring. After testing & assessing, the instant Jimmy put the new hearing aids into his ears my Father's face just glowed! He could understand conversation. While trialing these my Father watched Lawrence Welk and almost cried with the joy of hearing the individual instruments and understanding the words that were being sung. My Father has now purchased new hearing aids from Jimmy. The price was right - not outrageous, and plans are available for financing if needed. Lydia was quite helpful throughout the process as well. Additionally, I have worn a hearing aid for 16 years (My other ear is "dead."), was having trouble with it turning itself on & off, buzzing, etc. Jimmy also tested me and gave me a trial hearing aid. WOW!!! I thought I had been hearing as well as could be expected. I was wrong. Now I do not have to take the hearing aid out to talk on the phone and the clarity is fantastic! I also purchased a new hearing aid as the difference was so much improved. I am so thankful we found Jimmy & Lydia. The education provided through this experience was also appreciated. Please go see Jimmy if you are having any hearing loss issues. My Father and I will not go to anyone else, so stay put Jimmy & Lydia! THANK YOU!!!! ”

Even though I have had hearing testing yearly in my line of work I have never been as informed about the true consequences of hearing loss as I was after this seminar. “Holy Smokes!!! I cannot believe what I have been missing. My life has been changed both personally and professionally. Went to see Jimmy Stewart at the suggestion of another contractor that does work for me and had him test my hearing. Results were as I expected...my hearing has severely degraded over the years. Had difficulty at home, at work and in public. Jimmy fitted me with Oticon Alta Pro's and sent me home for a trial period. Have to say the first day or so were trying but now that my brain has adapted to hearing again, I will not go back to struggling to make out what I perceived as normal...asking people to repeat or simply faking that I heard and understood. Jimmy's care and explanation of my hearing have definitely improved my life and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate what he has done for me.”

“7 years ago I had cancer, a fantastic man got me through it. He was my oncologist. And I have all the faith in the world in that man. Recently I met Jimmy Stewart and when it comes to my hearing I have the same faith in him. Jimmy is kind, patient and caring; but he is knowledgeable and skilled also. Together he and Lydia run an office that provides a skill and service I value each day; as I really rely on my hearing in my work and with my family.”

“Jimmy fitted my Dad with hearing aids recently through a Hospice of the Piedmont program. My 93 year old father can now hear clearly for the first time in many years! He said he now feels 'that he can be part of the family'. It has been a joy to watch the transition he has experienced with his new ability to participate and enjoy every day things! Jimmy was so kind and provided the very best experience we could have imagined!”

“I, as most have a job that requires "hearing" and understanding what is being instructed or questioned. I feel certain that those around me were getting tired of my, "I'm sorry", could you please repeat that, I don't hear very well".. it was more irritating to myself than it was to those that I asked forgiveness of. If I was in a meeting of sorts or a small group or church congregation, I found myself missing out on Key words. Of course in those situation you can't ask to have it "repeated please". I studied my finances to realize that I could not not afford to get something done. I searched for local expertise and found Mr. Jimmy Steward and his side kick Lydia. My husband was in much agreement with me that I needed help with my lack of hearing. We were greeted at our first appointment as if we were doing them a favor. We felt, I felt very comfortable with Mr. Steward (HIS). I learned there was so much more involved in hearing than "just sound". Socially interacting, personal interacting and professional interaction was almost being placed in a dark shadow area. I started, just saying "oh well, never mind, didn't matter, "i guess". But Jimmy Steward had me, us realize that that was not acceptable living. Yes, I was starting to feel exceptionally dumb, but learned I didn't have to be. It was that I had hearing loss in both ears. The crispness or softness of sound was not even recognizable to me. Jimmy Steward patiently ran the series of hearing test to learn I had great hope of improving my quality of life. He present the types of hearing devices that would most help me. Without pressuring me, he loaned a pair for a week. It was unbelievable to learn that my brain, nerve endings, sound were there. I didn't know or maybe had forgotten they existed. Again, with no pressure my husband and I were showed a plan that we could work with to obtain my now "new hearing aids". I would highly recommend Mr. Jimmy Steward and staff to anyone. He truly cares for his patients. He wants only to have them improve their quality of life through being able to hear and listen with ease in all situations. A 5 STAR rating plus for sure. Thank you.”

“My husband, friends and family have been telling me that I needed help hearing for years. I had no idea just how much help I did need until Jimmy placed the aids in my ears for the first time. I could hear things that I had not heard in quite a while. The background noises that drowned out conversations can be turned down, I can hear all of the music again, people don't have to yell at me now and I can hear myself speak clearly. Jimmy Stewart and Oticon have made a huge difference in my life. If I have questions or problems I just send an email or make a call. They are always happy to help. I encourage you to call if you think you are having trouble hearing, it's worth the time, and money.”

“I visited Hearing Healthcare of Virginia not knowing what to expect, but after a thorough examination by Jimmy Stewart and an excellent explanation of the test results I realized the need for hearing aids.
