“After suddenly losing 35% of my hearing 11 months ago, I went to the ENT within my medical Group. The Audiologist strongly suggested I purchase hearing aids from Oticon. I was going back every week for 3 months and nothing improved. I was frustrated and disappointed and then found Community Hearing Services in Poughkeepsie, and met Rachel. She called Oticon and discussed my issues and found there were issues with my aids. After 7 months of frustration, Rachel said we were going to start all over. After only 2 months of adjustments the clarity has improved, background noise is minimal. Rachel has been so encouraging and helpful. I no longer avoid going out to eat or meeting my friends because I couldn't hear them. Rachel listened to each issue I was experiencing and made the appropriate adjustments. I was so frustrated and ready to buy different aid, Rachel believed I did not need to go to the expense of new aids, just needed patience and adjustments. I did not receive the customer, quality service from my medical group that I receive from Community Hearing Services. Rachel is the best and I'm so grateful to her. ”
“Kristy is a great find who lives up to her 5-star reviews. She is excellent at what she does and is patient, kind, and thorough. She always gives us plenty of time and answers all our questions. Kristy goes above and beyond to make sure my dad’s hearing aids are a perfect fit for him and that we are 100% satisfied. Her assistant, Stacy, is also very helpful. We were thrilled to find Kristy thanks to online reviews written by other very satisfied patients. We had a great experience at Community Hearing Services and highly recommend Kristy. She is the best and so very caring.”
“After years of procrastinating, I made an appointment with CHS to have my deteriorating hearing checked and met Kristy. She is personable, professional and extremely knowledgeable. She gave me an excellent exam followed up by a wealth of information on alternate hearing aids and payment plans. She counselled taking time to make a decision (no hard sell tactics), and once your aid arrives, Kristy walks you through all aspects of best wearing and best care practices and then rechecks frequently and makes any necessary adjustments. I am well satisfied with my aid and my greatly improved hearing ability. Kristy's follow-up and follow-through are excellent and I highly recommend her and her associates.”
“I have been very pleased with Community Hearing over the last 5 years. I feel that Kristy is very professional and always has time to listen to my concerns. I delayed getting hearing aids because all I ever saw in the paper were full page adds for hearing aids by businesses run by a hearing aid technician. Kristy is a Professional that understands the physical as well as the technical aspect of providing better hearing. ”
“I found my hearing aids online. Because I did not buy them from Community Hearing Services - Poughkeepsie, they didn't want to fit them for me. They finally agreed to do it for a fee for one visit. ”
