Michelle received her Doctor of Audiology degree from West Virginia University. She is a caring and compassionate Audiologist who works closely with her patients to ensure they have optimum success with their hearing devices. Michelle You may have seen Michelle on TV in December discussing our "Give the Gift of Hearing" event. The community was very supportive and we are hoping to make this an annual event!
On a personal note, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons. The boys keep their parents very active!
Deirdre received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Towson University. She loves working with patients to diagnose their hearing loss and then help them choose the best hearing device for their particular loss. Deirdre and her husband recently visited Disney World to celebrate her graduation from Towson.
About this hearing center
Almost everybody knows someone who has been affected by some degree of hearing loss. While hearing impairment can be the result of hereditary, it also is a natural and graduated result of the aging process.
Central Audiology Center, LLC was founded to help members of our community get more from a local hearing care provider. We continue the tradition of better hearing through education, technology and customer service. We deal with people of all ages who are interested in finding out more about hearing loss, either for themselves or for a family member. We are a full-service practice that offers the following services:
DIAGNOSTIC HEARING EVALUATIONS: During your initial visit you will be asked questions about your medical and hearing history. The Audiologist will then use a lighted otoscope to inspect your outer ear and your ear canal for any abnormalilties that may affect your heairng test results. The next step will be to perform the actual hearing test.
TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED HEARING AIDS WITH BLUETOOTH COMPATIBILITY: We offer the most technologically advanced digital hearing devices and offer a variety of options designed to meet any budget. If you would like your hearing aids to work with Bluetooth technology, we can help you choose the hearing device that is best for you. We partner with Central ENT Consultants, PC to bring you surgical options for hearing loss as well. We offer both BAHA and Ponto devices.
FITTING AND FOLLOW UP CARE: All programming, cleaning and minor repairs are covered for the life of your hearing aid. Extended warranties for your devices are also available.
TINNITUS EVALUATION AND MANAGEMENT: Tinnitus is a common condition where a personal experiences a ringing, rushing, or buzzing in the ears. Tinnitus will not cause you to go deaf, but its presence may affect your daily activities. Our professionals can help recommend a course of action to deal with th is persistent problem. Each person has an individual response to treatment. Our goal is to work with you to relieve this condition.
CUSTOM EAR MOLDS AND PLUGS: We provide custom hearing protection as well as custom molds for iPods, sleep plugs, Musician plugs as well as plugs for hunters.
