I am thrilled to be the newest member of the Audiology team at EARS, Inc and would love to share a bit about my background. I received my Audiology Doctorate in 2015 from the University of Washington, after completing a clinical fellowship at Harvard's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. My expertise includes performing diagnostic measures of the auditory system, as well as selecting, fitting and adjusting state-of-the-art hearing aids, cochlear implants, bone conduction devices and other assistive hearing technology. Prior to joining EARS, I worked for five years in the Cochlear Implant Program at the Stanford Ear Institute, where I collaborated with an interdisciplinary team to provide cutting edge hearing health care. I couldn’t be happier to now find my place in an individualized, specialty care center at EARS. We are immensely fortunate to live in an era with a vast array of innovative and cosmetically appealing hearing devices. I have seen time and again how the right combination of technology and personalized education can change lives. It is a joy to learn the unique needs of each client to create tailored treatment plans that allow people to overcome the challenges of hearing loss and re-engage in their lives. I very much look forward to helping the community at EARS discover these solutions. When not at work, I enjoy baking, yoga and spending time outdoors with my husband, toddler daughter and rambunctious dog.

“Dr. Inserra and Liezel gave me the best advise for my hearing loss. I couldn't be happier with my hearing aids, because of the excellent, kind, patient and knowledgeable care Liezel gave me. Dr. Inserra also helped my son-in-law with an ear problem, who went to see her after another ear specialist recommended surgery which turned out to be totally unnecessary. ”
“We had an excellent experience with Dr. Inserra. After months of debilitating dizziness, she found a non-invasive option for improvement. We are excited to try this advice and find peace. She is knowledgeable, thorough and caring.”
“I feel fortunate to have EARS Inc. with Dr Maw, Liezel and the staff taking care of my hearing. Through surgeries and with hearing aids, I feel confident in any setting and grateful for their experience, intelligent and kind services. ”
“She had a lot of knowledge.”
