“Dr. Maw has a competent and friendly crew. When after radiation I ended up with a large hole in my ear drum and grafting failed to repair it I thought I was in serious trouble. The next step was to go Cochlear. Dr. Maw made one last effort to fix the problem. She found my ear to be worse than she thought so while there she cleaned it all out and built me an entirely new eardrum which saved me a lot of misery. Doctor Maw is a godsend!”

“I am a patient and fan of Dr. Jennifer Maw and Dr. Sarika Patil. Dr. Maw was my cochlear implant surgeon in 2017 when I received my first Cochlear implant (an Australian sourced model). Dr. Maw is a professional, dedicated and highly skilled surgeon for this type of delicate surgery. My procedure was painless during and after. While there are warnings of possible nerve damage and significant loss of taste, I did not experience any ill effects after surgery. I could not be happier with my cochlear implant. Dr. Patil was first my audiologist for adjustment of a new Starkey hearing aid on my right side prior to my cochlear implant on my left side. I have a profound hearing loss (I hear nothing without a hearing aid) on both sides, such that making adjustments for me to hear well and comfortably takes longer than for most others. There are very few audiologists who are skilled or intuitive enough to provide any kind of assistance for my degree of hearing loss. Dr. Patil was incredibly patient thru the entire process for both my hearing aid as well as my implant. The Maw/Patil team gave me the best hearing I could hope for. They are in high demand due to their skill and success which sometimes makes it difficult to get scheduled, but they work very hard and do their very best to help everyone in a timely manner. At one point during my process to prep and tune my equipment I had a bout of vertigo. Dr. Maw enlisted the help of one of her other assistants who provided the necessary, very interesting! and effective treatment procedure and I thankfully regained my balance and confidence in everyday motions. My sincere thanks to Dr. Maw, Dr. Patil and their highly trained, dedicated team for their help in giving me my best hearing possible. ”

Particularly, Dr. Ralston upstairs is very enthused when a sale is possible but not so much when it is just assisting with a product that has already been sold. ”
