About this hearing center
The Hearing and Speech Clinic at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics offers complete audiology and hearing care services for children with hearing impairments using the latest evidence-based practices and procedures, supported by state-of-the-art technology. All of our audiologists have a master's degree, a doctorate or a Ph.D. in Audiology. They hold Certificates of Clinical Competence in audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and are licensed to practice in Kansas, Missouri or both. The clinic also has graduate students, medical students and residents observing evaluations and treatments. Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics are are recognized leaders in educating physicians and other health care workers on children's hearing loss and communication disorders.
