“Came in for my yearly check up this morning & saw Dr. Bobo for the first time. I’ve had my “aids” or as I like to call them “my ears” for two years. Recently I started to have some difficulty with loud noise & crowds. Dr. Bobo listen to me & told me what she thought was happing. After the test she said her first thought were correct, about what was causing the issues & different options to get some relief. She answered all my questions, didn’t rush through my appointment Yes, she is a doctor that listens & cares about her patients! I would recommend anyone with a hearing issue to go see her. She tells you what it is & does not try to sell you something that is not the best for you! The entire staff at AHBC is excellent, friendly & helpful. Do yourself a favor & get your hearing checked. I did & I haven’t fallen or injured myself since getting my “ears””

“I've recommended Advanced Hearing & Balance Center in Plano to everyone I know who asks me, "What did they say?" When I found myself asking this question all the time and unable to conduct telephone conversations, I knew I had to do something. They gave me demos to try first to ensure the technology was right for me. Who knew elevators ding when they arrive at the floor you selected? Oh yeah, everyone but me. So many new sounds that I had to learn to identify, as I'd either never heard them, or it has been so long. It's a whole new world and has brought tears to my eyes numerous times. ”

“A horrible experience! Asked for Dr. Hinrichs, but didn't get her or met her. Not sure if she works there. Wanted a balance and hearing test. Drove an hour to appt. and had both tests. The balance test was very thorough and the audiologist was professional. I was told we "ran out of time" (4:00PM) and I would have to make another appt. to get my hearing test results. I was not willing to make the long round trip again so scheduled with their Grapevine office. Arrived 15 minutes early, as instructed, but office was locked. I waited outside until the audiologist finished with a client and I was then allowed to sit in the waiting room. I was given a sheet of paper showing my hearing loss graph and she then proceeded to try to sell me new hearing aids. She didn't know the price with my insurance discount, but said she would get back to me "in a few days"...it's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard. Asked if my Phonak aids could be adjusted and she said it would cost $1,000. Told her I didn't want to spend that much and will buy new. A computer tech then arrived to address a internal issue and I was moved back to the waiting area...then I left!”
