“I live a good distance away from Advanced Audiology and am happy to make the trek in. Last Fall my original hearing aids began acting up. I researched three other hearing centers closer to home, to get fitted for new hearing aids, took tests at two of the centers and even used the new hearing devices they prescribed for me on a trial basis. None of them measured up. I do not believe their tests led to as accurate a prescription as I have consistently received at Advance Audiology, and the devices, which were just as expensive, turned out to be inferior. They squeaked, gave high-pitched feedback, or ran out of power, and I still had hours of teaching to do. In the meantime, I had an appointment with my hearing specialist at Advanced, and was retested. In short, they replaced my used devices at no charge because they took the time to review my insurance. It was like coming home again. The replacements and my new prescription vastly outperformed the brand new, trial-pairs at the two other centers I visited. What's more is that the office personel, the office culture, and my hearing specialist at Advanced (Ginny Newman) are in a league all their own. They manage to strike a beautiful balance between professionalism and personal attention that is not easy to find and my wife and I know that I will be given the best care possible when I arrive. “Nola Aronson was recommended to me by two people who do not know each other and are patients at Advanced. I then researched my health care provider’s contracted audiology service provider. The reviews, while not particularly bad or negative, did not seem to be as enthusiastically positive towards received service and/or devices or their overall satisfaction. I also researched hearing aid types and brands but concluded that the selection would be best left to the audiologist, not me. So, I put my trust in Nola and have absolutely no regrets. This clinic is top notch and you will be hard pressed to find any better. No hard sell/up sell. She gave me the hearing test, explained the results regarding my type of hearing loss and recommended a pair of Starkey Livio 2400s as best for my hearing needs. Nola also took the time realizing that since I am footing the bill (not an insurance or healthcare provider), and explained the various price points, features, and what each would/would not offer. She then reviewed the 45 day trial period (full refund if not satisfied). She showed me how to clean and care for the hearing aids, how to put them in/remove them from my ears, and how to use the control settings (mine are also controlled from an app on my iPhone). Advanced Audiology has a pleasant waiting room, vehicle parking area, and a clean safe facility. From the time I walked into the clinic until I left I was treated very well on every visit by health care professionals who really do care. Like the two gents who recommended Nola to me, I can’t say enough good about Advanced Audiology.”

“Although my son's pediatrician referred us to Nola, she had also treated my grandmother very effectively for hearing loss. My son has special needs and I was concerned about the accuracy of testing him for hearing loss. Nola studied both audiology and special education in school and was extremely effective in diagnosing my son's needs. She also determined that his twin did not need hearing aids even though he thought he did! Nola gives free batteries for the hearing aids she supplies and every time my son goes in to get them unannounced he waits patiently until Nola has time to say hi and give him a hug. “I came to Advanced Audiology with low end hearing aids that had me frustrated and unable to hear in noisy environments. Nola explained why my hearing aids were ineffective for me and why they cost so little. You get what you pay for. “I was so impressed with Nola Aronson the owner of the company. My mother-in-law was visiting from out of town and had been having a terrible time with her hearing aids for months and was not getting any help from the place she bought them. I called Advanced Audiology and Ms. Aronson came in special on a Saturday to accommodate our schedule! She tested my mother-in-law, and immediately determined the hearing aid was defective, packaged it up and sent it to the company for repair. We had it back within a couple days and it was perfect. My mother-in-law is 94 and because she was having so much trouble, she got a bit depressed and stopped many of her activities. After her aids were fixed she has been like the Ever Ready Bunny.
