A message from American Hearing & Balance about COVID-19:
Dr. Keith Michaels is a licensed audiologist who earned a master’s degree in audiology from California State University Los Angeles and later earned a Doctorate in audiology from Florida University Premiere program. He is also a Hearing Instrument Specialist and comes from a family of hearing care professionals. Dr. Michaels’ special interests lie in balance and vertigo disorders.
Dr. Matt Michaels is a licensed audiologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist who earned his Master’s degree in audiology from California State University, Northridge. He holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association and earned training from the House Ear Clinic, CARE Center for Children as well as the VA Hospital. Dr. Michaels is knowledgeable in the latest technology in hearing aids and devices.
Dr. Ghalia Mohder is a licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser. She earned her Doctorate in audiology from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Mohder holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She joined our team of professionals in 2009 bringing with her experience in comprehensive testing, balance testing and knowledge in the latest technology in hearing aids and devices.
Patricia Michaels is a licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser helping the patients at American Hearing & Balance achieve healthy hearing. She has been helping people with hearing for over two decades and for the past 10 years, has been working closely with the UCLA audiology program.
Dr. Michelle McCladdie is a licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser with over three decades experience helping those in need of hearing services. She earned her Master’s degree in audiology from California State University, Los Angeles. Dr. McCladdie has hearing loss herself as well as family members so she has an advantage in understanding how it affects quality of life. She is well versed in both sign language and Spanish.
Ryan Kalberer is a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist helping our patients achieve the hearing quality they desire by utilizing the latest in technology. He comes from a long line of hearing care professionals and realized his passion for hearing when he was a young child wanting to follow in his father’s footsteps.
Dr. Priscilla Monge is a licensed audiologist who earned a Doctorate in audiology from A.T. Still University. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Audiology Society. Dr. Monge specializes in vestibular testing and management and is an advocate for hearing healthcare education.
