James, a hearing instrument dispenser, is a Colorado native. He holds an engineering degree from Brigham Young University and a doctoral degree from National University of Health Sciences. James has given years of voluntary, international service in Honduras and Tonga. He has been helping others hear better since 2016, and each year has over a thousand appointments. He speaks Spanish and completed training in Texas and Indiana, where he learned new technologies and best practices.
James’ mission is to make a life-changing difference for his customers through courteous and professional hearing assessment and recommendations. He knows from experiences with family members how important hearing is to relationships and how much hearing loss can affect you and those with whom you communicate.
James is happily married with a growing family. He’s an Eagle Scout, enjoys cycling, camping, chess and loves singing in the church choir.

“I had my hearing test yesterday and left an hour later with my first ever set of hearing aids. It has been life changing. I spent the rest of the day running my normal errands, and couldn't believe all the sounds I have been missing. Watched TV last night at a lower volume and without straining to understand the words. Had lunch in a nosy restaurant today with a good friend, and did not miss a word spoken. My hearing aids are comfortable and invisible. My good friend who sees me regularly, never noticed them. ”

Our office is located on N. Terra Cotta Rd (essentially the same as N. Pingree Road. Pingree changes to Terra Cotta Road). We are north of 176, which is Terra Cotta Ave. Once you cross over 176, we are the fourth driveway on the left. You will pass a small strip mall, a KinderCare, Centegra's Fox Valley Internal Medicine building, along with Centegra's Gaver's Breast Center. Our office is Suite B, the second office in the strip.
