“My initial phone call to them went very well, staff member, was very professional and promptly scheduled me for an appointment. It was a bit of a drive away, but I said that it would be fine. The next day, I received a call from the Peabody Office, who said they had openings available, which I promptly took!! My commute to the appointment went from 90 minutes, down to 10 minutes from my home!!! I arrived at my appointment with my companion (with a familiar voice) to assist with the hearing test (word sound recognition). First impression: facility was prepared for Coronavirus guidelines!! We were greeted by a staff member Chris, who was very polite and professional!!! She took her time, in explaining, the paperwork, the process, that would take place. Upon completion of the paperwork, I handed it over to Chris. She let Audiologist Sue Stein know we were ready to be see. Within a few minutes, we were greeted and guided to her office. The Audiologist took the time to introduce herself to both myself and my companion, thanking her for coming in to assist with speech/ word recognition. She explained each aspect of the testing process, the reasonings, the what’s and why’s, of the different steps/process. Sue went into detail explaining what the audio test reflected and how, it related to my hearing issues. Then she explained several options of hearing aid choices available and how they worked, and the special features they now have, as opposed to the older models. Once that process was complete, we discussed pricing of the different models, options, etc. Then we were escorted, back to the reception area, to complete any additional paperwork needed. We were provided phone numbers for the office and any referrals made. Both myself and companion were very impressed with the professionalism and the treatment we received from start to finish. We would highly recommend the HearingLife Company, their Peabody location and staff. ”
