Marion Downs Hearing Center at University of Colorado Hospital
Sandra Abbott Gabbard has over 25 years of Audiology experience at the University of Colorado Hospital and is the Co-Director of the Marion Downs Hearing Center and the Director of Audiology at the University of Colorado Hospital. She earned her M.A. from University of Northern Colorado and her Ph.D. from the University of Colorado.
She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and adjunct faculty in the Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences Department at the University of Colorado in Boulder. She leads a team of highly qualified Audiologists that provide excellent patient care.

The Marion Downs Hearing Center is located at the beautiful University of Colorado Hospital. It was created to honor the legacy of world-renowned audiologist Marion Downs. The Center provides resources, education and research to support the needs of individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing, their families, the community and hearing health professionals.
The Center provides diagnostic and rehabilitation services for hearing impaired patients of all ages, including infants. Rehabilitation includes medical intervention when necessary, the selection, fitting, and verification of hearing aids, assistive listening devices, cochlear implants, and aural rehabilitation classes.
