“My hearing was compromised by a minor stroke in 2010. I went to another audiology group but it seemed like all they wanted to do was sell me a hearing aid. I started checking around and Dr. Woodward's group was very highly recommended. When they opened the Gainesville office I switched to Dr. Means as that was closer to me. I have been delighted with Dr. Means who cares about patient success with hearing more than selling a product. I have really enjoyed working with Dr. Means & staff as they have kept me updated with the latest technology in hearing aids available to suit my needs. Many thanks to her & staff.”

“Dr Brooke Means and the entire staff are really really great and I always feel that I get the best care possible there. Dr Means always remembers details about us that make us feel important. Even after a year she commented on weight loss. I found that amazing and so genuine. If you are having any issue with your hearing, I highly recommend Dr Means. She will take care of you like family!”

“I can honestly say the Dr. Means saved my life. My tinnitus was so severe that I was contemplating suicide. The constant high pitched buzz was maddening. I didn't think I could go on any longer. Work was becoming impossible. I couldn't escape the sound - it engulfed me. As a physician myself, I know that there is no cure for tinnitus so I was growing hopeless. Dr. Brooke Means was very compassionate and understanding. She did a thorough ear exam and found that I had hearing loss at the high end of the spectrum. She fitting me for hearing aides that have noise background to compete with the tinnitus plus augmenting my hearing in the high ranges. It was an immediate cure. Now I wear the aides for about an hour or two a day. The tinnitus goes away and the rest of my day is normal. I feel like I have a new lease on life. I can't express how grateful I am for North Georgia Audiology and Dr. Means.”
