Gena Marino, Au.D., has been practicing Audiology for seven years. She completed her doctorate in Audiology from the PCO School of Audiology in Elkins Park, PA. She earned a master’s degree in Audiology from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 2000. Dr. Marino is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is fully licensed by the state of Virginia to dispense Hearing Aids and is certified to recommend and fit all levels of amplification that include digital hearing aids and assistive listening devices. She has clinical expertise working with ages ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Karen Friedner, Au.D., has recently joined the Fairfax Hearing Center. She completed her doctorate in Audiology with an emphasis in pediatric audiology from Galluadet University in Washington, DC in 2009. Her bachelor's degree was awarded in 2004 from State University of New York at New Paltz. Dr. Friedner is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She has a strong interest in working with the pediatric population. Dr. Friedner is proficient in American Sign Language.
