Hearing Tests Adult Hearing Test A series of diagnostic procedures will result in an overall picture of a patient's hearing called an audiogram. After the patient describes their hearing health history, they will be placed in a quiet sound room where they will listen to an audiologist conduct a series of pure tone and speech based tests through a set of headphones. Hearing sensitivity as well as middle and inner ear function are evaluated. The audiologist will explain test results and treatment options and is happy to answer any questions. Pediatric (Children's) Hearing Test An audiologist performs diagnostic measures using age-appropriate behavioral and objective tests. Hearing can be assessed in children of all ages, including newborns. These assessments allow us to determine, as early and precisely as possible, the exact nature of our patients' impairments.
