Dr. Kimberly Bonney is the owner of Gold Country Hearing Centers. She is a Doctor of Audiology who specializes in audiometric and balance testing as well as digital hearing aid assessments.
She earned her Master's Degree in Audiology from Sacramento State University and her Doctorate Degree in Audiology from Salus University. She has deep compassion for people with hearing loss and remains current with the latest technological advances in hearing health. Kimberly strives to offer the highest standard of service to ensure the best solution for your hearing needs. Her number one priority in enhancing the quality of life for her patients and their families.
Melissa Gilger,

Audiologist
Dr. Marissa Gilger, AuD., knows how vital staying connected to the world is for her patients and that hearing well is the first step to that connection. As someone who has struggled with hearing loss since childhood, Dr. Gilger brings her unique perspective and first-hand experience to her patients. Inspired to become an audiologist after visiting her own audiologists for treatment as a child, she is excited to use her knowledge as both a patient and a provider to serve her community.
After completing her undergraduate degree at California State University, Sacramento, Dr. Gilger attended the University of the Pacific, where she graduated with her doctoral degree in Audiology. She then gained valuable experience working at Kaiser Permanente before transitioning into private practice at Gold Country Hearing, where we are lucky to count her as part of our team. In her spare time, she loves hiking, being outdoors with her husband Jake and their two Great Danes, Rosie and Ruth, as well as reading interesting books, traveling, and learning new things.

“I am new to town and was in search for a knowledgeable and supportive audiologist and I was lucky to be referred to Dr. Marissa Gilger. I was in the market for getting a new hearing aid and Dr. Gilger was very unbiased in explaining pros or cons of the ones that I had narrowed down my search to. She was able to get me a trial version of the one I had decided to go with before I received my purchased pair. I decided to try three difference versions of the one I had selected, and she was very supportive in letting me try the different versions before i decided the one that i liked the best. This was a game changer for me, as I got to try different models for couple weeks to confirm it met my needs. When it came to fitting, Dr. Gilger came up with the settings that met my needs. She is a real pro at configuring hearing aids to fit the environment you plan to use them. I have been very pleased with the responsiveness to giving me earliest possible appointments to come in for making modifications when I needed some configuration changes. The El Dorado office manager Cynthia is amazing at taking care of customers. She was the first one I talked to and she asked me the right questions to determine exactly what type of hearing aid i was looking for. it is always a pleasure to visit the office and chat with Cynthia and other office staff. ”
