“I just have to comment on the Emerge Center. I normally don't write reviews. Several years ago when they were Baton Rouge Speech and Hearing Foundation, They fitted me with one hearing aid. It worked great, until my hearing continue to deteriorate . One and a half years ago they fitted me with two hearing aids and I absolutely love them. They are Bluetooth and work with my phone. They are a great asset to me in my work and personal life. Emerge knew exactly what kind would work best with my life style . They asked me about what I wanted the aids to do for me and used their experience to assess and fit me in the best aids for me. Not everyone is the same, that's why you need the Emerge Center to fit you rather than just buy a pair of generic hearing aids. I know everyone doesn't need Bluetooth hearing aids, but in my work, communication is very important . I am on the phone several hours every day. Do yourself a favor, if you even think you might need a little help hearing, call for an appointment . Your quality of life will improve if you do in fact need hearing aids. They will be honest with you... they aren't there to sell everyone that walks in the door hearing aids. (I had one appointment years ago and they told me I wasn't ready for hearing aids. ) I truly hope you will be as happy with Emerge as I am, I found them to be honest, professional, patient and knowledgeable, which are the same things I strive for in my business. ”

“Was given this center for help in saving my only good ear and help my ears are both working. After 4 attempts to call and two messages,I told her my Dr said that center could help with aids maybe through United Way. Well then she tells me I have to PAY $250.00 application fee( sure it's non refundable) before they can see me. Why have a charity when I have to PAY. I'm lucky to have money at the end of month for meds and foods.I have fought since 2014 to stay alive and now I'm suppose to end up deaf because I can't pay a fee on top of ALL the donations y'all collect. Where is it???? So the thought of NEVER,EVER hearing my Son tell me He Loves Me is not acceptable.I don't know if its only kids you choose to help but its not right. I'm not ready to die and will go down fighting.I'm sure one of the local TV Investigation Anchors will try to find out why you need money to do a job you already get paid for.”
