“I went to Center for Audiology in June of 2016 with severe hearing loss. I was tested and prescribed the most recent Oticon behind-the-ear hearing aids. They seemed to work quite well except that the audiologist did not yet fully understand how to program them so she set me up with a pair of ReSounds which were roughly equivalent. They were quite good EXCEPT the right one would turn off whenever I went outside in warm weather or was working in the house. Even a slight amount of moisture would make it inoperable. It can be dried with a hair dryer on low setting but that does not stop it from happening again. I took my concern to the Center for Audiology several times and was told that this is very unusual and after making some adjustment was told that should be okay. In the meantime the trial period expired and now I have a $5800 pair of hearing aids that are totally unreliable. I asked if some adjustment could be made on another pair such as the Oticons I had originally, and was told if I want another pair I would have to buy them at full price. I went to Center for Audiology because it was recommended by acquaintances from Kirkland Village. I plan to make it known that while folks at Center for Audiology are friendly, they can leave you hanging with a highly priced bad product. ”
“Very satisfied! Deborah is very helpful and understanding. She is very knowledgeable and patiently cares for her clients needs, until she gets it right. My wife, Beverly and I are very happy with our hearing aids and the loving service provided. Thank you!!!”
“Dr. Westlund has to be THE most professional, caring and expert audiologist in a field that depends on those virtues. My experience included a hearing exam in which parts of speech and consonant identification helped me understand my hearing loss. The staff is likewise kind and professional. Thank you”
“She was extremely thorough, spoke and explained everything. It was very intimidating going in for him at first because he was very self-conscious about having hearing aids. People were shocked he was even going. He came out with a smile on his face. Everybody's shocked, so that's how good she was.”
“She really explained everything, took her time. ”
