Mitch Rockwell began his career in the medical field in 1998 after becoming disillusioned with his previous role as an executive chef in Gainesville, FL. He transitioned into the medical profession as a lab technician in the optical industry, quickly discovering his passion for healthcare. In 2002, Mitch took on the role of practice manager at an office in Stuart, FL, where he became a licensed Board Certified Optician. While in this position, he furthered his education by attending Indian River State College from 2010 to 2014, focusing on microbiology.
In 2016, Mitch was offered a new opportunity to manage a different practice, where he was tasked with establishing a hearing aid center. During this time, he trained and earned his license as a Hearing Aid Specialist (HAS).
Throughout his career, Mitch has been dedicated to patient care, always engaging with the public and providing support whenever possible. He has contributed to the field through involvement in various studies and by authoring and teaching continuing education courses for fellow professionals. Renowned for his thoughtfulness, helpfulness, reliability, and expertise, he is highly respected by both patients and colleagues.
Outside of his professional life, Mitch and his wife enjoy traveling the world together and he is an avid cigar collector.

I was in from out of town and my mother's hearing aids were not working properly and I had limited time to find a fix. Mitch was with another patient, but he greeted me immediately and once he was done with that patient he completely resolved my problem. Mitch tested my mother's hearing aids to ensure they were working properly and then he immediately identified and corrected the problem and provided me with two new ear molds. Free Hearing Examinations
Comprehensive audiometric hearing examinations consist of, air conduction, bone conduction, word recognition, comfortable and uncomfortable perception levels, speech reception thresholds, and speech in noise signals to determine what form of hearing loss you might have.
Hearing Aids
Because Rockwell’s Hearing Center is an independent hearing center, this allows us to partner with and provide our patients with all brands of hearing aids. Hearing Aid Accessories

Hearing Aid Repairs and Cleanings
We can service your device and determine if its a simple in office fix or more serious and needs to be taken up with the manufacturer. Even if you purchased your hearing aids somewhere else we will be happy to determine the functionality of your hearing devices.
Earwax Removal
We have devised a multi step process using a curette attached to a micro camera and an irrigation system that contains a solution to soften the wax and flush it out if needed. Our wax removal process is safe and efficient.
