At the beginning of my journey; I started off as an American Sign Language Interpreter, knowing ASL and being involved with the deaf community. Since being involved with the hard of hearing and the deaf communities, it really opened the door to my future endeavors. I was looking to broaden my horizons in the hard of hearing world. I immersed myself in my studies and receiving my Bachelors degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Communication Disorders, and decided to go the route of Audiology a few years later. I have been a Hearing Instrument Specialist ever since! I have worked with a variety of different people and hearing aid manufactures all over the country, such as Starkey, Phonak, and Widex to name a few. In addition to my hearing achievements, I also am certified in ear wax removal to help my clients even more with their hearing services.
