“The Hearing and Brain center located in Valley Stream is very good. Omar is very nice and knowledgeable. He will test you and explain your weaknesses. He answers all questions in a professional manner. Chyna is the receptionist who’s also nice and accommodating. ”

“Chynna's most gracious manner makes it a pleasure to enter this office.  Omar, hearing instrument specialist, is friendly, relaxed and natural, and the longer initial appointment goes by easily. When the hearing aids arrive, they are then dedicated to one's personal preference for the nature and variation of the sound, but there is a bit of a wait for the receipt after the programming into the hearing aids.  Omar's facility with the specialized instruments bestows confidence.  After receipt of the hearing aids, through followup appointments, the state of one's hearing is kept under surveillance for early treatment.    I wish the hearing aids could be available sooner, but with regard to Chynna and Omar, I couldn't ask for a more pleasurable and assuring experience.  ”

“I started out with Hearing Center of Long Island when Dr. Larry still owned the practice. I has been a bit of an adjustment to no longer having any audiologist on staff. Omar, however, is a certified Hearing Aid specialist. He was able to administer the same hearing tests that the audiologists used to perform and showed me the changes in my hearing which showed up since my last hearing tests. In between, I now have periodic visits to have my hearing aids cleaned and maintained. I am satisfied with the attention and detailed explanations I have received from Omar. One quibble with the new regime is that they don't schedule a specific date for the cleaning and maintenance, they only say, "Come in during X month." For me, an invitation to come in anytime, might as well be no time, because I need a specific date or I will keep putting off coming in due to other things going on in my life. I also don't like that there doesn't seem to be an direct email to contact the office, only a phone number. I do receive periodic generic messages from someone at the Hearing and Brain Centers of America, but this person is NOT someone who works at the Valley Stream Office and I can only hope that they check their email and get in touch with the Valley Stream Office staff. ”
