Audiologist
Dr. Maria Santana brings a deep dedication to her role as a certified audiologist, with a special passion for helping older adults in their journey to better living through improved hearing.
Dr. Santana’s background includes a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from State University of New York at New Paltz and a Doctor of Audiology from the Long Island Consortium, which includes Adelphi, Hofstra, and St. John’s University. She achieved the dean’s list at both schools.
Her specialties include comprehensive audiological evaluations, newborn hearing screenings, auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing, vestibular evaluations including Videonystagmography (VNG) testing, hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and programming, patient and family education, and counseling.
Ruth Reisman,
AuD, CCC-A, MBA
Audiologist
Dr. Ruth Reisman is a licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser in New York, Florida, and Bermuda with years of experience working across multiple sectors. She currently supports the field as a full-time Professor of Audiology at the City University of New York and is recognized as a subject matter expert in assessing and rehabilitating auditory disorders throughout the age range.
Dr. Reisman comes to our practice offering specialized services including hearing aid assessments and fittings, implant evaluations and activations, auditory processing diagnosis and rehabilitation, as well as tinnitus services. Please ask us how Dr. Reisman can help you or a loved one!
