Hearing Aid Specialist, Mobile Services Director

Kathy Grabowski is a SC Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. She has been in South Carolina since 1989 when she moved here from Minnesota. She is retired from the US Air Force where she served six years as a photo processor, working with everything from satellite imagery to photos of the space shuttle during its missions.

She came to the hearing healthcare field in 2011 and has found her passion in hearing health. “Through the past 11 years, I have very much enjoyed helping folks have a better quality of life through better hearing. I just love seeing them reconnect to life. I’ve seen everything from grandparents hearing their grandchildren say, ‘I love you, Grandma’, to seeing the expressions of wonder on people's faces when they hear something for the first time like the refrigerator humming, or crickets, or the blinker on their car. It’s that ‘Oh my gosh, I heard that!’ expression on people’s faces when they try their new aids that has me hooked. I like to teach people that their hearing ability is not a disability.”

Kathy has three children, two of whom are active military. She lives in Aynor, SC, where she enjoys critters: horses and dogs, kayaking, paddling, and walking on the beach.
