Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Allison Coltisor is a clinical and research audiologist with National Hearing and Balance serving the Los Alamos and Albuquerque clinic locations. She specializes in balance disorders and concussion/traumatic brain injury. Prior to this, she has worked in private practice and hospital settings with pediatric and adult patients in a variety of subspecialities within audiology. She completed her undergraduate studies in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology with a minor in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies at California State University, Sacramento. She received her Doctorate in Audiology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, a post-doctoral fellowship with Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Vestibular Sciences and is working towards the completion of her Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina Greensboro (Communication Sciences and Disorders) in the research area of traumatic brain injury. When she is not at work, Dr. Coltisor enjoys spending time with her husband and Shiba inu, mountain biking, reading, cooking, and baking.
