Christina “Christy” Burns has been a practicing audiologist for over 25 years, and specializes in diagnostics and hearing aids for adult patients. Prior to joining HearingLife, she worked in an Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) clinic for over 20 years. Christy is a native of Savannah and received her bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia. She continued on to receive her master's degree in Audiology from the University of Tennessee in 1995.
Having worked with adult and pediatric populations throughout her career, Christy's experience has brought her extensive knowledge of the diagnostic processes used to assess and treat hearing problems.
Christy is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed to practice audiology and dispense hearing aids by the Georgia State Board.
Christy lives in Midtown Savannah with her husband and has two grown children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, exercising and spending time with her family
