Dr. Davies has struggled with Ehler Danlos Syndrome, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, and Dyslexia, and is aware of how disabilities can affect a student’s abilities to perform and succeed.

Not only that, we offer educational testing along with a family and parent advocate who specializes in guiding parents through their options and rights.

Our mission at the Davies Institute for Speech and Hearing is to help children and students and families.  We believe student success is dependent on the child’s abilities and on family involvement throughout the education process.

Our families are given a team of staff members who are directly assigned to their child in order to help build and develop appropriate goals and milestones based on their exact needs. Parents and children will work with teachers, speech therapists, audiologists, and/or physical and occupational therapists based on their child's comprehensive evaluation. Services are offered year-round by our wonderful staff and parents are always encouraged to be involved and ask any questions that may come up in the process. Our staff works together WITH the families in order to keep constant communication on child development and progress throughout the year.
