“I have been a patient of Stuart Trembath for eight years now. Before I made an appointment with Mr. Trembath, I asked several of my close friends who had hearing aids, "Who do you go to?" and "What do you like about them?" The answers were all: Stuart Trembath. My older brother just asked me how to chose a consultant -- he is a dematologist himself; I was really surprised he wanted his little sister's advice! I realized that when I knew the time had come to think about hearing aids, consulting close friends who could be honest with me meant the most. I asked a judge, a orthodontist and a teacher. They all reccomended Mr. Trembath. My daughter also went along with me for my first hearing appointment. Having two of us cover lots of questions helped me a lot. She asked questions that I hadn't thought of which helped me make my decision to order hearing aids. It's nice to hear again. I told my brother to look for a doctor in his area (Minneapolis) who is associated with ReSound. Of course, he knows I can hear again.”

“I have been a very satisfied customer of Hearing Associates for nine years in the Albert Lea area. On the morning of Wednesday, February 2, 2022, I was putting my hearing aids in. The right aid dinged. It turned on, but the left one did not ding. I called Tanner, the Hearing Associate Patient Care Coordinator in Mason City, for his assistance and attempt to brainstorm. Upon his recommendation, I got my aids to the Hearing Associates in Albert Lea by 2 p.m., so Dr. Tanya Rowe, the Audiologist, could look at them at her convenience. Much to my surprise the receptionist was waiting for me with outstretched arms, so I could place them in a clean tray for her. Tanner had already alerted their office of my arrival and my situation, so I didn't even have to go into an explanation. Tanya had always told me if there is an issue they would squeeze me in even if I had to wait all afternoon. I waited and within a short time I was seen by Tanya. She informed me my hearing aids were working, and that I had Sudden Hearing Loss in my left ear. And, MAN, did she move then! After another short wait, she was back to me to input my intake, give me a hearing test, and alerted the receptionist to get me an appointment with my doctor at Mercy One ASAP. She went directly over to Mercy One. Friday morning was full. She could see me in Mason City on Friday. As the Dr. walked in the office door she immediately said, " It's your Meniere's; I want to start you on 5 days of meds. We have a week to 2 week's window to start treatment, and we have that. Some people wait 6 months and over a year to come in, and then it's too late for treatment." I don't think I was in her office over 5 min. I was able to follow-up in Albert Lea for a hearing test with Stuart at Hearing Associates and my Dr. at Mercy One. My hearing in my left ear had returned to where it was in November of 2021. I am so grateful and appreciative to Hearing Associates and the ENT's at Mercy One for their swiftness in which they moved regarding my sudden hearing loss and to their ongoing expertise in the field in which they work. I have had a good rapport with them for nine years. And, I love to sing their PRAISES!!!! ”
